Jules
plays several instruments- mainly bass and mandolin, but also
phonofiddle, trumpet, saw, nose-flute, and can get a tune out
of pretty much anything he can get his hands (or other
extremeties) on.
Trained
classically as a youngster, moving on to self-taught bass
guitar and mandolin in his teens, and these days the double
bass is the main weapon of choice. For many years he played
the nationally acclaimed band
“The
Thunderbridge Bluegrass Boys”
, who are 'resting' as of the end of 2012.
Other current projects include the Great Western Revellers, the Catherine Burke Band, Green & Bushell, Hattie Hatstar, and Jason Baxter’s Little Big Band.

with Kaos Theatre’s ‘The Dream’ as MD, on-stage bassist and
live FX.
